NUDE LIPS COLLECTION
I'm so excited to share this review to every one of you today because it's all about liquid lipsticks that are affordable, long-lasting, flat matte, kiss-proof, and a non-drying effect on the lips like most of the well known brands of liquid lipsticks. And these are also made in the Philippines! It makes me feel proud when Philippine made products are really well made! Let's start the review!
Packaging
The product is inside a transparent lipgloss container. It's the same as the usual container for similar products like the LA girl flat matte lipgloss. It has a matte handle on its applicator. Another that I like about the packaging is that the product itself is inside a box that contains all the information that you need to know about the product.
Scent
For me, the scent of this product is just mild. It has a sweet scent and it also resembles the scent of Nyx matte lipcreams.
Longevity
This liquid lipstick can last for hours on your lips. It felt like forever until the lipstick fades. I can't really say the exact time on how the lipstick will stay on your lips because it really depends on the user. Especially if you're the kind of person that eats frequently. But yes, this one IS long-lasting!
Consistency/Texture
It has almost the same consistency as Colourpop lipsticks but the difference is that this one is not too drying on the lips. The consistency of this product is not too watery and not too thick; just has the right balance between them.
They have 5 shades for their Nude Lips Collection; shades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and they also released 2 darker shades for the collection (Check it here).
Shade01: This one for me has the right shade of brown, not too light and not too dark. It's almost perfect for all skin types. This is one of my favorites in the collection.
Shade02: This one is a toned down shade of pink. The shade is almost peach. It has also almost the same coloration of MAC Kinda Sexy and Nyx Lingerie in Ruffle Trim.
Shade03: This one has a warm pink shade. For me, this is the perfect shade because it's not too light. The shade SEEMS like Kylie lipkit's Candy K.
Shade04: This shade is my top pick for this collection! Need I say more? Yay!! This has the same shade as Nyx Lingerie in Exotic, Nyx Liquid Suede in Soft-spoken, and Bobbi Brown Lip Color in Brownie.
Shade05: This one is a brown shade coupled with pink and purple undertones. This can be a replacement for Kylie Lipkit in Dolce K and Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in Beeper.
Experience
Love at first swipe indeed! The liquid lipsticks are pigmented. They're almost consistent in the formula of their products. Not patchy on the lips and it doesn't cluster around in a single area when worn too long. It's also not too drying compared to the well known brands of liquid lipsticks. This liquid lipstick dries down to flat matte. It is also transfer-proof and doesn't feel sticky to the lips. After eating pizza, the lipstick stayed and it just faded on my inner lips. Removing this product can be bothersome so I recommend using an oil based makeup remover for an easy way to get rid of it. I'll be rating this 9/10 because these products are a bargain for what they do and high quality! To top it off, it's also Philippine made!
